The Polio Eradication Team of the CommNet project in Sindh is seeking enthusiastic and skilled professionals to join their mission to eradicate polio. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about public health and community engagement. The team invites applications for the following positions:

1.     Advocacy & Communication Officer

(Central Pakistan-North Sindh Districts) – Sukkur Based

Location: Sukkur

 2.     Communication Response Officers (CROs)

at Various Divisions

Karachi: Three Vacancies

Hyderabad: One Vacancy

Mirpurkhas /SBA: One Vacancy

Larkana/Sukkur: One Vacancy

Job Descriptions and Requirements

Advocacy & Communication Officer

Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Advocacy Strategies: Craft and execute effective advocacy plans to promote polio eradication initiatives.

Communication Campaigns: 

Design and manage communication campaigns aimed at raising awareness about polio prevention.

Stakeholder Engagement: 

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, healthcare providers, and community leaders.

Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports and documentation to track the progress of advocacy efforts.

Requirements:

Educational Background: 

Relevant degree in communication, public health, or a related field.

Experience: 

Proven experience in advocacy and communication roles, preferably within the public health sector.

Skills: 

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and advocacy skills. 

Communication Response Officers (CROs)

Responsibilities:

Community Engagement: 

Work closely with communities to raise awareness and encourage participation in polio vaccination campaigns.

Crisis Communication: 

Manage and respond to any communication-related crises or issues that arise during polio eradication efforts.

Data Collection: 

Collect and analyze data related to community responses and vaccination coverage.

Collaboration: 

Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to ensure the smooth implementation of polio eradication activities.

Requirements:

Educational Background: 

Degree in communication, public health, social sciences, or a related field.

Experience: 

experience in communication roles, especially in health-related projects, is highly desirable.

Skills: 

Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
